After a looong time, a total lunar eclipse was visible from Cologne, Germany. The last time I photographed a lunar eclipse was back in 2019!
Nach laaanger Zeit war endlich wieder eine totale Mondfinsternis in Köln sichtbar. Das letzte Mal habe ich eine Mondfinstern 2019 fotografiert.

Different processing of the corona exposure series, using PixInsight’s FFTRegistration script to align the images, which worked rather well.

Another image from the total solar eclipse of 08 Apr 2024, a highly processed HDR composite of the corona, using 13 x 2 exposures from 1/1000 to 4 s.
There was a bit of a focus problem which I noticed only when reviewing the telephoto frames. Thus, my TSE 2024 shots aren’t as sharp as they could be.

The partial solar eclipse of 25 Oct 2022 over Cologne-Dellbrück, Germany. Partly cloudy skies provided a natural ND filter for these images. Alas, a complete cloud cover obscured maximum eclipse at 12:07 CEST with a magnitude of 0.33.
