Only a few days left, the next total solar eclipse on July 22nd is just around the corner. We’ll be heading to a location south of Shanghai.

Above the Roofs of Cologne #9

Ganz unverhofft ging es über Köln mit dem “Geo”-Ballon der Hamburger Ballonwelt, mit ein paar Bildeindrücken, die man sonst nicht so leicht bekommt. Vielen Dank an Susanne, die die gewonnene Ballonfahrt an mich abgetreten hat, und an Franz Taucher, der uns sicher rauf, rüber und runter gebracht hat.

Baggertransport – Absetzer 756 #6

Ende der Ära Tagebau Bergheim: Baggertransport durch den Erftkreis, erste Etappe vom Tagebau Bergheim nach Glesch. Genauer eigentlich kein Bagger, sondern der Absetzer 756 mit dem Bandschleifenwagen 956. Im August geht es dann weiter über die Erft und die A61 zum Tagebau Hambach.
