Back to that beautiful country after nine years, a large portfolio of images from our visit to Scotland in 2007 is now online.
The renewed enthusiasm took its toll, GB-wise, or “gigage” as the new term goes. ;-) To be found in the gallery album Scotland 2007 with 365 images from a little bit more than 3 weeks spent in the central and northern highlands. There is also a sort-of subset available on my ipernity site, in the Scotland 2007 album. After the censorship debacle at flickr, I moved. And as always: if you want to use the images outside the CreativeCommons License or a print, please feel free to contact me.
The third selection of the cityscape cologne series, including a tour of Mülheim with the Talking Horns.
This image is from the tour of Mülheim with Jazz played by the Talking Horns, Achim Fink, Andreas Gilgenberg, Bernd Winterschladen, Nicolao Valiensi, and local history told by Martin Stankowski. The complete selection 3 can be found in the Cologne Cityscape / Stadtbild Köln 3 album in the gallery.
This time a faster turn-around, the album Gröde 2007 is now online.
Working with a laptop and Adobe Lightroom on-location, I’m able to post a first selection of images much faster than I used to be, eg last year’s Gröde images. The gallery album Gröde 2007 contains this year’s selection of Gröde images, supplementing the travel photoblog posted to the Hallig Gröde photoblog and my flickr photostream. Image stitched from 2 original exposures using PanoramaStudio.
Tomorrow we’ll be back again on Gröde, so let’s have a look back at one of the photos from 2006.
Just in time finished wading thru all the images from the last visit, a selection of these is now online in the gallery album Gröde 2006. And of course there is also the flickr set Gröde 2006. And, just that we’re at it ;-), the Hallig Gröde Photoblog.
Part 1, the previous selection of Stadtbild Köln images, to complete the picture(s).
This image from another collection of my images is also part of a selection of the workshop group, used for illustrating the previous VHS programme September to December 2006.
Have a look at the gallery, album Stadtbild Köln Selection 1 for the complete collection.
Part 2 of the Stadtbild Köln selection, used for the new programme of the adult education center of Cologne.
Except for Miss Piggie on the front page – of course! ;-) -, a broad selection of images by the Stadtbild Köln workshop group have been used for illustrating the new Januar to August 2007 programme of the Cologne adult education center VHS.
This image from the Cologne tradeshow center is part of this selection, other images by myself can be found in the new album “Stadtbild Köln Selection 2”.
Speaking of which, I just added an installation of Coppermine to the website, which will be new virtual gallery of my images. It also includes the selection of my images, wich were part of the Stadbild Köln exhibition.
Merry Christmas to all visitors of mj’s photolog. Thanks for your continued interest in my images.
This image is the result of using a pinhole “lens” cap on my 20D. Lowtech meets hightech, sort of. ;-)
From Dec 2nd until Jan 12th, the exhibition “Stadtbild Köln” is on display in the city hall Cologne Lindenthal. As a member of the group I’m showing eight of my images from the Cityscape Cologne series.
The exhibition presents a body of work showing various objects, subjects, and aspects found in the city.
See the German version of this page or the official invitation (PDF, German) for more details.
And also the Stadbild Köln photoblog for more information about and images from the project.
Now in the fourth year, we went to Hallig Gröde for a gorgeous summer vacation.
Some of the images can be found here in the new album Hallig Gröde 2006. You may also want to have a look at my photos on flickr, which also include a set Gröde 2006 with many more images to appear there. In addition there is a new photoblog Hallig Gröde featuring the images from flickr with German language descriptions and comments.
